Were talking to the kids like they were pure trash. Walking in the Wal-mart, I heard 'Females talking trash to their kids like they were growm folks on the street. What damage are they doing to their children? What are the beating down in their spirit? That they will never amount to anything, then when they don't , the "females" or even the "males" casue i have seen that too, but they have no rhyme or reason as to why. I told my nephew he was a good little boy, he said "no i'm not I'm bad.. becasue my mother told me that i was". I HAD to put her on FRONT STREET. At 5 years old he was already thinking this is who he is, and that was all that anyone would expect him to be . He also said that he was a "pimp". once again Ming had to put my own brother on BLAST. He thought he wasn't meaning any harm. BUT what truly is the definition of a pimp. Folks need to stop labeling their kids with negativity!! Speak life into them, not death. Death of their Spirit, Death of their self-esteem, Death to their potential. Folk might say you got some ghetto folks, but let the truth be told, their are folks from the city to the suburbs, from the rich to the poor, who remind their kinds JUST WHAT THEY ARE NOT. instead of WHAT THEY ARE or HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE!!WHOS'S YOUR DADDY??Most of my own young life i was told that I looked like my "Lying, Black, Gap-toothed Daddy". And that every word that came out of my mouth was a lie. That Dark-skinn was baad and that my teeth weren't perfect. Guess what. I BELIEVED THAT FROM THE AGE OF 5! Thank God that Missionarry Frankie Hayslett reminded me who I could be, I was 30 years old. God will send you a "Mother" to teach you what you need and show you HIs love.. I love my other but she was a child having children and her mother did the same to her. BREAK THAT GENERATIONAL CURSE..NOW!. That is why when I see my children I tell them all that they are and all that they can be. I know they will make mistakes and though I am divorced, i have NEVER said a negative word about theri father becasue I know the damage it can do. they know he was abusive and other things that occured, but, that's not talking about him, that's telling the truth.
